Love birds

Birds are very fashionable at the moment.  Every wedding I go to there is a little bird cage or birdy decoration somewhere.  I was very happy when I was finally asked to make a birdy cake!

Happy Halloween

I have to reveal something about myself..I am VERY patriotic about my country, South Africa.  I LOVE the beauty, the diversity, the sunsets, the cultures, the 11 official languages and the food.  One of the only things I do not like, Halloween is not big!!  I would love to dress up and run around playing pranks for just 1 day of the year!!

I am always very happy when I get asked to do a scary type cake.  It is my way of pretending we celebrate Halloween.

I did this one recently.  I was given a picture by the mom, I have no idea where she downloaded it from so do not know who to give credit to for the original design.  The witches I've added is based on a cake design from Debbie Brown though.
