We call them biscuits, in America they are called cookies.  I sure love making them, no matter what they are called!!

White topsy turvy cake

The most difficult part of this cake was negotiating the steep hill leading up to the venue in beautiful Wildernis!!

Where did this year go?  Was shocked to see the date of my last blog entry. In my defense, I do study, work,  am a single mum and bake cakes as a hobby.

This was a lovely dessert table I've done for a gorgeous lady.

The cake was chocolate ganache and the cupcakes carrot..the chocolate balls were Lindt that I've added a personal touch to.

Vintage feel cupcakes

I am really falling in love with Uitsig, just outside George. The views are stunning and the decor really suits the popular vintage feel many weddings have these days.

This was a lovely family wedding and I felt privileged to be part of it.

Colours were cream and muted pink.

On a personal note..

I see weddings come and go, sometimes I am there for the engagement cake, the wedding cake, stork party, Christening and First Birthday party.  That makes me so happy.
Sometimes though I bump into a bride 3 months after the wedding and they are divorced.  This breaks my heart.

To have meaningful relationships mean to have a certain emotional maturity.

Natural/Vintage

I was glad that I could finally use the super cute cake topper I bought recently.

The top cake was carrot, larger bottom was chocolate ganache.  Vanilla, chocolate and carrot cupcakes completed the look.
