I loved making this cake!  It was really feminine, classy and reflected my own style.

There were 4 types of cupcakes, red velvet, vanilla, carrot and chocolate.  Each had a different decoration, but the theme remained soft and romantic with a vintage touch.

Elvis cake

A 60th Birthday cake for an Elvis fan..the guitar is made from sugarpaste.

80th Birthday cake

It was very special to make a cake for an ex teacher who turned 80.

Safari animals cake

It is always special to have repeat customers.  I did the stork cake, last year Ryan had a Mickey mouse cake and this year he had a safari animal cake.

Loads of fun modelling all the animals, but the giraffe is my favourite!

White chocolate scroll cake

This cake was for a gorgeous couple who got married in Oudtshoorn all the way from Limpopo province.

The flavours were chocolate ganache, lemon poppy seed and carrot surrounded by Belgium chocolate scrolls.

Jungle book

The Jungle Book is one of my favourite stories ever.

Baloo swinging from side to side while singing the bear necessities must be one of the best moving songs ever!

This cake was an absolute joy to make.

Peacock cake and cupcakes

I was approached by a gorgeous couple all the way from Bloemfontein to make their cake for their Garden Route wedding.  They send me a very cute idea where the cupcakes forms the tail of the peacock..

Silver and white wedding cake

It was lovely to make such an elegant wedding cake with a white and silver theme..

The cupcakes each had a flower with silver detail.  The cutting cake was a chocolate ganache cake.

This couple only wanted something small, so I made them a one tier chocolate ganache cake wrapped with chocolate.

Topsy Turvy cake

Topsy turvy cakes are always a challenge but are such fun!!  This one had detail of a giraffe and tinktinkie (nicknames for each other) around the side as drawn by the couple.

White and silver wedding

It has been a busy time for Koekerasie.  In between orders I also play around with samples for upcoming weddings.  These are for a wedding later this year..They are a lovely couple and I am looking forward to their wedding!

Love birds

Birds are very fashionable at the moment.  Every wedding I go to there is a little bird cage or birdy decoration somewhere.  I was very happy when I was finally asked to make a birdy cake!
